To all the young moms out there,

You are amazing. You're on a path that's a lot more challenging than others, but I'm so proud of you for doing your best and taking care of that little human (or humans) you brought into the world.

I know you're probably exhausted. I'm right there with you. But look at you! You're incredible. You're probably balancing so many things in your life right now, and I know it can get a little (or a lot) overwhelming, but remember that you can do it. You can succeed. You are capable.

Don't let anyone tell you that you can't and won't be able to do things just because you're a mom or because you had children young. Those people are wrong. You are capable of extraordinary things. You can do it all if you set your mind to it.

I know sometimes you think about how much easier your life might have been if you didn't have a child. Don't feel guilty about that. We all think about that occasionally.

But when those thoughts invade your head, I hope you think about the way your baby wrapped his or her tiny finger around yours when they were first born. I hope you think about the sweet kisses and the way your toddler waves goodbye to you when you leave. I hope you think about the goodnight stories, the sleepy cuddles, the way their eyes light up when they see you. I hope you embrace the overwhelming love you feel for the little being you made. I hope you remember that you are your child's world. They adore you. You are the only mom your child will ever have. You are irreplaceable.

I know you're trying your best to be as perfect of a mom as you can. I know you second guess yourself all the time. You question whether you're doing all you can to make sure your child is healthy and loved.

Just know that there is no such thing as a perfect mom. Every mother makes mistakes. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. You are doing a wonderful job.

Remember that even though there may be many trials, they are nothing compared to the triumphs.

So give yourself a pat on the back for being a superstar, and go give your sweet baby a hug for me. Motherhood is far from easy, but just know remember,

From one young mom to another- you've got this.
