Hi everyone! My Ipsy bag came in the mail a few days ago, and I was super excited to see what goodies I got, and to try out some new makeup and beauty products! This is my second month subscribed to Ipsy, and I am loving it. It is such a cute subscription service.

Don't know what Ipsy is? Check out my post here where I go a bit more in depth about it. I want to make this post short, sweet, and to the point.

So, without further ado, here is what I got in the May 2016 Ipsy bag!

First off, how cute is this bag?! I love the color and the "destination chic" theme of this month. It is perfect for this time of year since summer is the most popular time to travel.

The first item that caught my eye was this gorgeous Hikari Cosmetics Shimmer Bronzer in the shade "Radiant," a warm rose bronze.

(from top to bottom: rose shade, golden shade, bronze shade, and swirled together)

This product retails for $17 and is full sized. Ugh, it's so pretty. The whole thing screams summer. As you can see from the swatches above, it is well pigmented. The formula is really soft and creamy. I was very impressed with this! If you want less of a blush and more of a bronzer, avoid the rose shade. The rose shade definitely turns it into more of a bronzey-rosey blush, which in itself is stunning.

The next thing I noticed in my bag was this pretty lipstick by the brand Mellow Cosmetics in the shade "Electro." It retails for $13, and is a bold orangey coral red with a semi-matte finish. I really love this lipstick! The shade is perf for the coming season, and the formula is really nice. It's not drying at all. The packaging is also really lovely and neutral. Love everything about this!

The next thing I'm pumped to try out is a deluxe sample of the IT Cosmetics No Tug Waterproof Gel Liner. It's infused with skin loving ingredients like collagen, peptides, and Anti-Oxidants. Swatched on my arm it felt really smooth and creamy. I can't wait to put this to the test on a pool or beach day to see how waterproof it really is.

The fourth product was a deluxe sample of the Eva NYC Hungry Hair Oil Treatment. It is supposed to nourish, hydrate, and smooth hair with Argan Oil and Keravis Protein. This smells SO GOOD. As far as how well it works in hair, it didn't have any amazing effect on mine. It smoothed it nicely though.

Lastly, I received an eye smudger brush by the brand Vera Mona. It's a decent brush, with soft bristles. I'm not sure if it's dense enough for me to like to use it to blend out eyeshadow on my bottom lash line, but I think it would work nicely to smudge eyeliner.

Overall, I was really impressed with this month's bag! I liked it more than last months, and I think I will get use out of every product. For only $10 a month, you really can't go wrong.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Are you subscribed to Ipsy? If so, what did you think of your month's bag? Let me know in the comments below!
