Hi y'all!

I can't believe it's already the day before Halloween! This month flew by so quickly, it's insane. I wanted to do so many more posts for Blogtober this month, but with school and everything else going on in my life, it just didn't work out that way. I'm definitely looking forward to a time where I can focus more on blogging, and in the mean time I'm just going to do my best and enjoy the posts that I do have time to write.

Anyways, back to the point of today's post!

Last weekend, Ry, Lilah, and I had the pleasure of going with our good friends to the South Texas Corn Maize! I had only been once when I was a baby, and I was so pumped to finally get to go and really experience it. The maze covers seven acres, and the rest of the property that you get access to with admission includes a pumpkin patch, a hayride, a corn slide mountain and so much more! There is also a ton of delicious food options as well. It has such a family friendly environment, and Lilah had the time of her life!

The first thing we did when we got there was grab some drinks and delicious kettle corn, and then we headed straight towards the corn maze!

We decided to take the "easier" route because well, we had a two year old and our nine month pregnant friend with us, and neither of them (or the rest of us really) were keen on the idea of walking for too long. It was so fun reading the clues we were given to try to find out which way to go! Lilah loved touching the corn stalks and picking up sticks along the way.

After we wound our way through the maze and got out, we decided to take Lilah to the pumpkin patch. I absolutely loved the pumpkin patch they had there! The pumpkins were huge, bright orange, and had longer stems than ones I've seen at other patches. This was one of Lilah's favorite parts by far. She was running around like crazy trying to look at all the pumpkins.

The rest of our night was spent eating food, going on hayrides, and watching fireworks. It was definitely memorable, and something that I'm looking forward to making a tradition every year. Nothing screams October or Autumn more than a corn maze, and it's now it's earned a place on my must-do list for fall.

I hope you enjoyed this little post all about our time at the South Texas Corn Maize this year! I hope you've all had a fantastic October, and have gotten to do lots of fun fall activities. Have you been to this corn maze, or maybe a different one? Let me know in the comments down below!

Stay tuned for another post soon!
