Hi y'all!

I'm so excited to share photos from our maternity shoot here with all of you today. These photos are very special to me, and I think they turned out absolutely beautifully! I'm so thankful that we had the opportunity to capture this pregnancy and our growing family during this exciting time.

These are definitely images I will cherish forever.

On top of sharing our maternity pics, I also wanted to do a little 35 week pregnancy update. I haven't talked too much about this pregnancy here, so I wanted to update y'all on baby and I since we're getting closer and closer to delivery (eeek!).

Before I get started on my 35 week update, I wanted to thank the talented photographers behind our maternity shoot, Joshua and Parisa of Contista Productions,  for the time and effort they spent on these photos, and for giving us memories that will last a life time. If you are anywhere near the San Antonio or Austin area and are looking for a photographer for a wedding, engagement shoot, maternity shoot, etc., definitely check them out! I'll link their socials at the end of this post.

So, what's new with the bump and I at 35 WEEKS?!

Baby is the size of a: Honeydew melon!! (Probably over 5 pounds now)

35 week pregnancy symptoms: Lots of back and rib pain. Baby is getting bigger and this mama is getting more and more uncomfortable. Other than that, occasional heartburn, emotional as ever (keep Ryan in your thoughts haha), out of breath constantly, and always in need of a nap. I can't complain too much though, my symptoms haven't been bad at all this pregnancy.

What I'm craving: Chex mix, sour candy, any icy drinks.

Aversions: Nothing!

How I'm sleeping: It's hard to find a comfortable position to fall asleep in, but luckily once I do fall asleep I sleep well (besides waking up for the inevitable trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night).

Baby movement: Lots of big movement at night, smaller kicks during the day. I think this little dude has his days and nights confused!

How I'm preparing for baby this week: I just made a well-organized list of everything we still need for baby and for mama before delivery last night. I'm looking forward to checking things off and starting to pack mine & baby L's hospital bags. I love making checklists, so I'll probably make one for what I want to pack in my hospital bag too. I'm also making sure to get everything washed and put away, and trying to get the nursery finished and set up within the next couple weeks.

Wedding rings on?: Still on! I haven't had too much swelling so far this pregnancy (knock on wood). We'll see if I'm able to keep them on the next 4+ weeks.

Dr. updates: All looked normal and well at my appointment a week and a half ago. I go again this week, and then I start WEEKLY appointments until I deliver. I can't believe I'm already at this point in my pregnancy, time has flown!

Belly button in or out?: Kind of both, haha. I feel like some of it is sticking out and the rest of it is kind of closed. I feel like it might actually pop all the way out with this little babe!

Excited for: Getting the nursery finished, having the hospital bags ready to go, and of course meeting this sweet boy!

And that's about it for our maternity photos and my 35 week pregnancy update!

I hope y'all enjoyed looking through our photos, and getting an update on this little baby and I. Let me know in the comments which picture is your favorite. The countdown for baby #2 is on!

Stay tuned for more posts soon, and be sure to check out the Contista Productions website, Instagram, and Facebook page to see more of their stunning work!
