Hi y'all!

It's been a whirlwind of a month adjusting to life with two little ones. There have been ups and downs as I figured out balancing a tiny baby with a three year old, but overall I am feeling like one very blessed Mama, and I am so in love with these small humans I grew.

In the upcoming couple weeks I'll be sharing a few of my baby must haves here with you all. I've been testing out a few products that were new to me, and I'm so happy that I can now say they are must haves for me with my little guy. Today I'll be reviewing the first of my baby must haves: the DockATot Deluxe

Disclosure: I received this product compliments of DockATot. However, all opinions are my own, and I will be totally transparent with y'all about the pros and cons of this product and how it has worked out for me.

So, what in the world is a DockATot? If you haven't heard of this wildly popular product, keep reading to discover what this product and brand is all about!

DockATot is a multifunctional infant lounger. You can use it with your baby for co-sleeping, play time, or simply lounging in. It's really versatile! There are two sizes, the Deluxe (pictured here today), or the Grand (review on that bad boy coming once our little one outgrows the Deluxe). The Deluxe is aimed at infants aged 0-8 months, while the Grand is aimed at little ones aged 9-36 months. It is handmade in Europe, designed in Sweden, and is made of all natural 100% cotton. Plus, DockATots are tested for breathability, and OEKO-TEX certified. So, you can feel good about the time your little one spends in it!

Just as docks are a safe harbor for boats, DockATots are a secure place for babies, or in other words, a safe place for you to "dock" your "tot"! How cute is that?! I just had to share the origin of the brand's name because I think it's so sweet and clever.  Now that I've been using the DockATot with Landon for the past few weeks, what do I think about it? Read on to find out!

I was always intrigued by the DockATot, but honestly, I was worried about paying a pretty high price for something that my baby might not even like. BUT after having it these last few weeks, I am in love, and so is baby L! I can definitely see what all the hype was about now, it's a pretty magical little lounger!

I've used it practically every way you can. I've used it for co-sleeping, tummy time, play time, lounging, you name it. We use it every single day, and often multiple times a day. It is a LIFE SAVER when it comes to getting things done around the house. When I need to take a shower I often bring the DockATot into the bathroom with me and place it on the ground. Landon happily lounges in it and looks around for the duration of the shower. It's so great to have something light, portable, comfortable, and safe to place him in when I need to get things done. For tummy time I lay him on his belly and prop him up under his arm pits. It works perfectly!

When he's having a rough night and just wants to be close to me or held, the DockATot is wonderful for co-sleeping. The raised sides keep me from rolling onto him, the material is breathable, and it really makes him feel like he's being held or back in the womb thanks to the shape of it. He can sleep and nap for hours in this thing! It's not a miracle worker, he still has some restless nights even when he's sleeping in it, but I truly believe it comforts him. The use we get out of it and how much he likes it is what makes this product a baby must have for me! I also love how cute the prints are. This one is called "Block Party" and the colors go with his room perfectly. Also, if I get bored with the print I can always buy an extra cover! To check out this specific DockATot, click HERE

As with any product, there are some downsides to the DockATot to keep in mind when considering purchasing it. The obvious one is the price tag. It is definitely expensive, and is a splurge for sure. However, if you do have the money and/or want to splurge on a couple things for baby, I think this should be one of them. You will be surprised how much use you get out of it! Another thing I am not the biggest fan of is that you can't dry the cover in the dryer, so when I wash it I have to do it right when I wake up so it can dry during the day. That means I can't use it for that day unfortunately. This issue can be easily resolved if you purchase an extra cover for the DockATot (though I wish the covers were a bit less pricey).

All in all, the DockATot Deluxe is a product that I would highly recommend putting on your baby registry, or purchasing yourself for your little one. Though we did receive this product complimentary, even if we hadn't, the use we are getting out of it would have made the purchase completely worth it!
